For over a century, the National Fire Sprinkler Association has advocated to protect lives and property through the widespread acceptance of the fire sprinkler concept. The NFSA accomplishes this through a variety of means, including 1) Working closely with lawmakers on both state and local levels to advance the fire sprinkler concept and 2) live fire sprinkler demonstrations. The NFSA works closely with Common Voices, the Home Fire Sprinkler Coalition, and several other organizations to advance its mission.

Since the NICET was founded in 1961, more than 148,000 technicians and technologists have met NICET's rigorous certification criteria, and the number grows rapidly as more employers and local and state governments rely on NICET certification to measure the qualifications of their workforce. The certificate and wallet card issued by NICET serve as a portable credential for certified technicians and technologists who seek to maximize their skills and knowledge and advance in their professions. The Fire Suppression Systems Association (FSSA) is a not-for-profit trade association, drawing members domestic and internationally and is comprised of a blend of designer/installers, manufacturers, consultants, academics, and suppliers working together to share ideas and strategies for the benefit of the fire suppression systems industry. FSSA members are dedicated to the highest level of safety, reliability and effectiveness of special hazards fire suppression.

Established in 1948, ESA is the largest trade association in the United States representing the electronic security and life safety industry. Member companies install, integrate and monitor intrusion and fire detection, video surveillance and electronic access control systems for commercial, residential, industrial and governmental clients. In cooperation with an alliance of chapter associations, ESA provides technical and management training, government advocacy and delivers information, advice, tools, and services that members use to grow their businesses and prosper.

TEXO combines the two largest national construction associations to unify, advocate, and advance the construction industry in North and East Texas. It is the objective of the ACOE to maintain the association as an organization of chief engineers, or the industrial equivalent thereof, who have a special interest in the practices of plant engineering.
