Fire & Life Safety Service Sales Representative

Location: Albuquerque, NM

American Fire Protection Group (AFPG) is growing! Because of that growth, we are seeking qualified applicants for an open Fire & Life Safety Service Sales Representative position in our Albuquerque, NM office. You will be compensated with a competitive base salary plus incentives calculated from the profits on the sales you make. A generous monthly vehicle allowance is also provided to encourage consistent weekly in-person contact with customers.

What can you expect to accomplish your first year on the job?

  • Development of proficiency with CRM system.
  • Contributing to overall growth of AFPG’s Inspection and Service Sales efforts.
  • Development of caring and enduring relationships with your AFPG TEAM members and customers.
  • Creating an Individual Development Plan (IDP) with your supervisor and taking steps toward accomplishing its objectives.

Requirements:

  • At least one year of sales experience. Experience related to the fire and life safety industry is a plus.
  • Highly developed oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong commitment to excellence on behalf of our customers.
  • A dedication to follow-through and detail.
  • Being a personable and trusted listener.
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook). Experience with Microsoft AX is a plus.
  • Possess a valid driver’s license; in accordance with Company policy.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding clients to securing deals.
  • Unearthing new sales opportunities through networking and turning them into enduring partnerships.
  • Enhancing customers’ dedication to the AFPG brand with upserving and through your after-sales support efforts.
  • Developing and maintaining caring and enduring relationships internally and externally with customers and partners.
  • Working closely with customers to define their needs and developing solutions that meet them.
  • Participating in local associations of trade markets.
